This program is for students who are in 9th through 12th grade.
Learning, Earning, and Investing for a New Generation, a school-based program, consists of a curriculum that is designed to introduce students to the concepts of personal finance and teach them how to make informed financial decisions.
No peer-reviewed publications evaluating the effectiveness of this program were located.
The curriculum is delivered in a series of lessons that are designed to improve participants' financial literacy. A free online game developed by the Council for Economic Education called Gen i Revolution, accessed at www.genirevolution.org, can be utilized during all lessons; however, each lesson may be taught without the game.
The extent to which this program has been previously implemented is unclear.

Considerations for implementing this program include acquiring buy-in from classroom teachers, understanding the textbook will need to be purchased, ensuring the instruction room has access to the internet to download the PowerPoint lessons and activities, and enrolling classes for participation in Gen i Revolution.
