BAM! Body and Mind (BAM!), a school- and community-based online resource, is designed to provide information on a variety of topics in an effort to help children make healthy choices regarding their diet and activity levels, peer pressures, and disease prevention. This program was created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The BAM! website uses games, quizzes, and interactive tools to engage youth and encourage them to learn about a variety of health topics.
The BAM! Game Room, featured on the program website, consists of games that reinforce learned information. BAM! also has an "Ask a Scientist" comic series that teaches kids about a variety of health topics using vibrant colors and exciting stories. BAM! can also be useful for teachers as it provides activities relating to a variety of topics (e.g., body image, energy, epidemiology, natural disasters, physical activity, safety, smoking, stress) that meet national education standards for science and health.

Considerations for implementing this program include acquiring buy-in from children, school administration, and teachers; obtaining materials from the program website; procuring access to a computer with internet capabilities; and making time in an existing curriculum for activities.
